Nov. 1997 “The Production & Construction of Sound,” children’s workshop, taught with cellist Erin Snyder at The Society for Contemporary Crafts.
July 1997 Arts Immersion Module, Turner Elementary School . Eight-day creative music residency at this inner-city school, included open house, performance and joint work with Adrienne Wehr’s drama class--together, “Imagine This, The Dream Factory.” Facilitated a field trip/workshop to The Mattress Factory.
July 1997 “The Rhythm of Found Sounds,” improvisation workshop, self-run, held at Lascaux Gallery, for a variety of young instrumentalists.
Sept. 1992 Found Sound , Pittsburgh Children’s Museum. Taught workshops with visual artist Ray Geiger--“Stringed Instruments’ History & Structure,” “Color/Color,” and “Frequency:  Sound & Light,” the latter two exploring a fascinating relationship between the visual & music, product & process.
