Young Kids and Old Punks

“These days, young kids have no place to form an epic adventure. They’re being taught unsocial skills, like Facebook”–Johnny Rotten

Thank God there’s Lydon & others who still don’t like to be steered by convention and defined by outside source– ’cause Facebook sure enchanted a whole lot of old punks, too.  Ironic, huh?

Its just a big-a__ faux social club!  GET YOUR OWN SITE and define yourself and arrange your own damn pix in whatever order YOU want.  Get a Twitter account (its indie marketing & quik communication)… drive people to see YOUR site.

And get out there and talk to people face to face again,.  I saw the demise of friendships when FB came out– people staying in and posting old shit and forgetting the living breathing people out there who shared face-to-face and cared at least phone-to-phone, who invited friends to numerous gatherings where PUNK and the ALTERNATIVE SCENE still made itself known, in homes and dive bars and spaces.  Now at such rare events, people stupidly praise FB as the unifier and are already thinking of their next post when they get home.

I’ve been complimented and criticized for being “righteous.”  Yea, I’ll take it– Punk is righteous.
